Summer Wedding

My husband and I attended a beautiful wedding last weekend at Karl Strauss Brewery in San Diego and the grounds were just beautiful. It was the perfect place for a wedding. The Japanese style garden and ambience were so amazing. My favorite part of the wedding was dancing the night away with my husband. I wore this gorgeous coral lace dress which is similar here and here. I got so many compliments from the wedding. It was super comfy to wear and to dance the night away in. I decided to pair it with these gorgeous earrings by BP that are similar here and here. My favorite part of this outfit was the Prada clutch from LaFemme Chic Boutique in San Diego. The Prada clutch went perfectly with my gown and I love the details & ruching of it. I finished the look with a pair of nude strappy heels by BP also similar here and on sale.
Being at this wedding reminded me of my own wedding. I can't believe my husband and I have been married for 6 years. It's seemed like it was just yesterday. I love that weddings are such a joyous and fun time to celebrate the love between two people. I still look at my husband the way I did on my wedding day and I hope that he will always look at me the same way. I definitely think it is important to make time for each other and have date nights to reconnect especially when our days are so busy. I hope you enjoyed this post and I look forward to sharing more outfit inspiration with you. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your weekend.

A special thanks to La Femme Boutique for the gorgeous Prada clutch.

Bell Sleeves & Lace

I had the most incredible experience last week. I attended my first fashion show as a blogger at the Nieman Marcus in Fashion Valley. It was a fun brunch event that featuring the latest fall trends. I was beyond excited to attend this event and also worried about what to wear. I wanted something chic, but not over the top. I contemplated on wearing a dress and when this black lace top arrived in the mail, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I wore this gorgeous Endless Rose Louvre Top  paired with my favourite white denim jeans from Paige.  I've been waiting for this top to re-stock since the black one is currently sold out. Since I wanted a clean look, I kept my accessories to a minimal.  I decided to belt this top for a more fitted silhouette & wanted a peplum look since it was very baggy on me. I finished the look with my favorite Chanel bag similar option here & my New Very Prive peep-toe Christian Louboutins similar option here & here.
I had such a fun time seeing all the designer looks and fall fashion. My favorite trends for fall are floral prints and velvet textures. I also love the 70 inspired looks that are definitely making a comeback this season. The highlight of the show was indulging in the delicious food and connecting with other San Diego bloggers. I know I must say this all the time, but I am very fortunate to amongst such friendly and supportive women in this fashion community. I love that we build each other up and I love that I can connect with other people that share the same passion as I do about fashion. I can't wait to share with you all the trends & styling tips for fall so stay tuned. I'm so eager for cooler temperatures so that I can layer & play with different prints & textures. What are some trends that you love for fall?

We recently celebrated our 6th year wedding anniversary on August 9th and decided to do a staycation with the family. We stayed at the beautiful, relaxing resort in San Diego called  Paradise Point Resort & Spa located in Misson Bay. If you are from out of town, I highly recommend this resort because it is in a central location to all the amusement parks and tourist attractions. The grounds are also very tropical and relaxing. I love that the items are fairly priced and there is something for everyone. Most of the items I snagged at the sale were under $50. I did splurge here and there on items that I believe are good quality and timeless pieces. Here are my final picks before the sale ends. Make sure to take advantage of these sales now, so you don't have buyer's remorse when the prices go up on Monday. Happy shopping & I hope most of these items get restocked. Thanks for stopping by! The Perfect Summer Dresses

I'm so excited to announce my collaboration with the Fabulous Rag Boutique located in Pacific Beach, San Diego. It is the cutest boutique with so many great items. They have a wide range of selection from evening gowns to everyday wear.  The Fabulous Rag is also voted the best boutique in San Diego. Being at this boutique definitely brings back memories as I used to shop here when I was in college. It's amazing that I can still find items to wear now being a mom. When I saw this gorgeous floral dress, I knew I had to have it. It's perfect for summer and a great look to wear for any summer festivities such as a baby shower, wedding, brunch or for date night. I love how flowy it is which is perfect for beating the summer heat in southern California.

I also got to style some looks for Del Mar Opening Day which is a big event in San Diego. It is one of the most fashionable events in San Diego & annual tradition for many San Diego natives. More than 40,000 guests attend this event to showcase their most fabulous style & gorgeous hats to kick off the season of horse racing. I've been wanting to go for years, so I was really excited to be able to wear different looks for this event. I love the crowds and seeing everyone get all dolled up. Betting on the horses is just icing on top. My favorite part of Opening Day is the gorgeous hats that everyone wears. The bigger the better in my opinion.
Here are is one of the looks that I love that is great for Opening Day,  a night out, or a cocktail party.  All these dresses that I'm wearing can be found at The Fabulous Rag boutique.  There is definitely something for everyone at the store. Make sure to check them out if you are ever in San Diego. I guarantee you will definitely find something for yourself. Stay tuned as I share more looks from this fabulous boutique. Thanks for stopping by and hope you are enjoying your weekend!
