Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a AAA 5 Star Diamond Resort and the ultimate desert oasis. There are 6 different & amazing pools at the resort and the newest Sunset Beach pool with 9,000 square feet of white sand. There is also an adult only pool and a relaxing innovative spa and fitness center. It is also home of the two 18-hole championship golf courses and one which is the home to the Annual PGA Tour Waste Management Phoenix open. There is definitely no shortage of fun here.
The Fairmont has something for everyone, which is hard to find especially with young kids. Our favorite pool was the Splash pool since my boys loved the slides. They also had a fun interactive DJ booth for the kids that had different competition to keep the kids engaged. Some of the activities included: a dance competition, hula hoop competition as well as super hero trivia. My boys loved & participated in all the activities. The best part was the bubble party. They were literally filled with bubbles and they loved every minute of it. If only they had that every night before bed, bath would be a piece of cake. Another fun activity that the Fairmont offers is the zip lining. My son and I had never zip lined before. After this experience, I can't wait to try zip lining in other countries. The experience was amazing and the staff was so friendly and kept both of us at ease. Unfortunately, my youngest, Ashton was unable to partake in the zip lining since there is a weight requirement. We will definitely be back and hopefully next time, Ashton will be able to go on it. I definitely recommend doing trying the zip line. Not only does Fairmont offer daytime activities but they also offer activities at night. At dusk, the beach side pools have movie night for the kids and each night is a different movie. The kids also loved hanging out at the Trailblazers which is a Kid's Club that offer variety of activities from going on a nature walk to a stimulator, the world biggest Pac Man, arcade games, Xbox, ice hockey and pool table just to name a few. A must stop for kids!
Our room had the perfect backdrop of the Sonoran desert. We stayed in the Sunset Beach Suites which are easily accessible and close to one of our favorite pools. The balcony was one of my favorite part of the room. It was the perfect place to sit and catch the sunrise and sunset each night. One of my favorite thing about this hotel is the hospitality and service we received. Not only was everyone very nice and friendly, but the resort gave you such a feel that you were a vacation away from home. Even though we live only 20 minutes away from the resort it felt like vacation here. We were able to sneak in some spa time while the kids were at the TrailBlazer's Family Adventure center which is essentially a Kid's Club packed with fun. Although, I didn't have enough time to book a treatment, the amenities at the spa was amazing and they offer numerous treatments and wellness services. I highly recommend stopping by there, they also offer different fitness classes as well. Next time I'm there, I definitely trying the aerial yoga which I've been wanting to try for so long.
We also dined at the Bourbon Steak house at the resort which is owned by Micheal Mina which is one of my favorite chefs. The food definitely did not disappoint. One of my favorite dishes was the sea bass that I ordered with black bean sauce. It was so good and their fries and dipping sauce is seriously to die for. I definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you stay at the Fairmont.
Overall, our stay at the Fairmont was absolutely perfect & amazing! From the marvelous and friendly staff to the beautiful grounds and amazing pools. There is also no shortage of fun and activities here. If you are looking for a family friendly resort or just a place to unwind by the pool or spa. I highly recommend staying here to experience luxury and all the comforts of home. I promise you will create memories here that will last a lifetime.
