Susan Kane founded Styles Revealed in August 2015 as a creative outlet to her day to day life as a stay at home mom. Styles Revealed is a blog that is curated around her passions: fashion, beauty, fitness, lifestyle, travel, and motherhood. This blog became a place to showcase and document her personal style and lifestyle on a daily basis. Her readers are the everyday woman who is seeking inspiration for fashion and lifestyle at an affordable rate. Susan strongly believes that you can look fabulous without spending a fortune. She also believes in investing in classic and statement pieces that will never go out of style. Through her blog, she hopes to inspire women from all over the world that you can have the best of both worlds-being a mom and a fashionista!

Susan is an educator by trade and is passionate about all things fashion, travel, beauty, fitness and motherhood. She has two boys who are 5 and 8 that keep her busy and on her toes. She is always striving to find the right balance of being a mom and a fashionista. Susan created a lifestyle blog to share her tips and tricks on how to look fabulous and chic without spending a fortune while balancing motherhood one day at a time.

1.What’s your educational background?

I graduated from UCSD with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development, and a master’s degree in Education. I’ve taught elementary, middle school, and young adults for over 10 years. I will always have a passion for education and teaching. I strongly believe that education is the key to success.

2. Where do you live?

I currently reside in Phoenix, Arizona. We recently moved back in February 2019. I'm originally from San Diego where I was born and raised. I lived all over the United States including Maui, New Jersey and Arizona. I'm hoping to finally call Arizona my home again.

3. How tall are you? What is your shoe's size? What size do you wear?

5’5, 8 or 8 1/2 and size 9 in running shoes, XS

4. What is your favorite season for trends?

Spring/Summer (Maybe because I am a summer baby!)

5.Who is your favorite fashion icon/inspiration?

Audrey Hepburn, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss & Jennifer Lopez

6. What’s your favorite TV show/Movie?

I don’t watch a lot of TV because I’m so busy with chasing my boys around and blogging. I love “Friends” and “Sex and the City”, both the TV show and the movies. My guilty pleasures are “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”, “The OC”, and "VanderPump Rules" which I make my husband watch it with me and he secretly loves. My go-to genre is romantic comedy, what can I say? I’m a hopeless romantic.

7. Where have you traveled?

Sydney, London, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Paris, Cancun, Cabo, Hawaii, Miami, Vancouver, Toronto, New York, San Antonio, and counting!

8. What’s on your bucket list?

To attend New York Fashion Week, travel to Italy, Fiji, Tahiti, basically travel around the world. Go on a Disney Cruise, start a blog (which I’m finally doing!) and learn to cook. Constantly striving to excel and getting better.

9. Do you speak another language?

Yes, Chinese (Cantonese) fluent and a little Spanish (Hola!)
