Happy Thursday! I wanted to do a quick post on what's still in stock from the Nordstrom Anniversary SALE. I'm blown away by so many items being sold out. Unfortunately, a lot of these items will not be restocked will go back to regular price on August 7th. I highly recommend stocking on fall items now since the prices are such a great deal. Also make sure to grab it while still in your size, since items go so quickly. Here is a roundup of my current favorites and most of these items are budget friendly and under $50.

Every girl needs a good pair of faux leather moto leggings especially during the fall season. They are so edgy and chic. I love that you can dress them down or up. Here I paired them with my favorite Adidas which is also part of the sale. These leggings have the cutest faux leather panel and super comfortable to wear. They fit true to size. I'm wearing an XS for reference and I can't wait to wear them with my favorite over the knee boots and peep toe booties during the fall. Another item that I'm really surprised is still in stock is this gorgeous split sleeve top. It is so comfortable and the color that I'm wearing in pink mauve is perfect to wear now and for fall. Blush is definitely going to be big during the fall. The split, bell sleeves are such a unique touch to this top and it comes in 3 gorgeous color. It's such a classic staple to stock up on with a bell sleeve flare. This top fits true to size. I'm wearing an XS. I paired it with these BP black leggings which are part of the SALE. I picked up a couple of these leggings because I live in them during the fall. It's so chic to pair them with boots or these leopard flats that I picked up from the sale. HOODED COTTON ANORAK

This olive anorak is must if you don't own one. Nothing says fall like a good olive anorak. This one runs big. I'm wearing an XS in the picture but would definitely have a better fit sizing down to an XXS. It's such a great layering piece and it is super lightweight. It also comes in a camo print. I'm very surprised that this item is fully stock in both color. If I didn't already own one, I would have definitely pick this out. I paired it two different ways. The blush pleated shorts are super cute and part of the sale.

This cold-shoulder sweatshirt is a hidden gem. I love the cut out keyhole at the back and shredded patches add an edgy look to a plain sweater. I'm so glad that this leopard print ruana is back this year. I missed out on it last year and I'm so glad it's on sale. It's perfect to layer during the colder months during the fall and winter. I love that you can also use it as a throw blanket when you are cold. I love to snuggle with my boys during the winter and this is perfect. It's an oversize fit and I plan to pair it with dresses and jeans. You also can't beat the price.

These shoes are one of my favorite purchases and very versatile to wear NOW & into fall. I love that you can pair them with dresses, skirts, shorts and jeans. The detail of the booties are also very boho chic and very unique. Peep toe booties will definitely be trending this fall and this such a great price point and most importantly they are super comfy because of the block heel. A definite fall staple. They fit true to size and I'm wearing a size 8 1/2 for reference.

6. FREE FOCUS FLYKNIT 2 TRAINING SHOE

These are my first FlyKnit Nikes and can I say that I am obsessed with the color and print. They are so comfy and I wore them to the gym the other day and I got so many compliments. These comes in four different colors and run small. I normally go up a size in tennis shoes and got these in a size 9. They are currently sold out in pink, but make sure to check back for restock especially in the morning. Get these while you can because these will definitely sell out. I found these for regular price at $120 here if you are interested. They are totally worth the full price. Get them now before they sell out.

My husband and I went to one of the biggest events in San Diego which is Opening Day in Del Mar last week and I had the the time of my life. It was such an incredible experience and it was everything I imagined and more. I've been wanting to go since I was a kid to see the glamorous women dressed to the nines in their gorgeous and sexy cocktail dresses and their fancy hats and the men dressed up in suits to watch the first day of horse racing. I was very fortunate to be invited by Del Mar Racing to attend this special event and was given special media pass which allowed my husband and I to experience behind the scenes of Opening Day and be on the race track to see the horses up close and personal.

Opening Day is similar to the Kentucky Derby in which people come together and watch horse racing and place bets on their favorite horses. Opening Day is also one of the biggest day for fashion and draws the most crowd because it's not only about horses but about seeing the fashionable ladies dressed up in their most glamorous clothes. Since I love fashion, this event was definitely on my bucket list to do. I love dressing up and I'm all about hats. I got my gorgeous blue fascinator courtesy of Hattitude which sells the cutest hats for everyday look and special hats for Opening Day. You can read more about Hattitude on this blog post. Yes, this event is that big. Opening Day is all about the hat and dress to impress. Since we were going to be there all day, I wanted something comfortable, chic and sexy. I found this gorgeous blue fitted dress from Nordstrom and it definitely had all the bell and whistles. I paired it with my favorite black Gucci belt and my comfortable black heels from Steve Madden.

One of my favorite experience about Opening Day is being at the Turf Club. The Turf Club is a members only club and has a specific business casual dress code. I love being able to sit down and enjoy lunch while watching the horses. It is also in a shaded area which makes it more comfortable to watch the races because it was one of the hottest and humid day. I also love that it is super convenient to place your bets and easily accessible to the restroom. We decided to arrive early so that we can avoid the traffic. I also recommend valeting the car since it is very far to walk from the car to the venue. My husband and I enjoyed hanging with the jockeys at horse owner at the paddock which is a very special experience since not everyone is allowed at the paddock. I was also able to capture a picture with one of them.

I highly recommend going to Opening Day whether you live in San Diego or plan to visit. It is a must see event where the most fashionable ladies are dressed up and the most glamorous and unique hats are seen.

Since it was my first time, I wanted to bet on a few horse races. Since I know don't know squat about horse racing, I picked and chose the horses based on their names. Unfortunately, all the horses I picked didn't win. My husband however won three races. Chicka Chicka Boom was one of the winners and it is pretty ironic because we just read the book to my son the night before. So we had to bet on that horse and he won enough to pay our babysitter which is a win in my book. If you are there and Chicka Chicka Boom is racing, I would definitely place bet on that horse.
