I just came home from the Nordstrom SALE today and I'm so excited to report that the sale is as good as last year. If you loved your last year's SALE, you will love this year. There are a lot of items that are very similar, but I found that the cut, quality and fit is much better this year. I stocked up on a ton of basic pieces and fall staples that you can mix and match. I'm all up about maximizing my pieces and getting the most bang for my buck. I stocked up on jeans, cardigans and some basic tees that you can wear NOW & into fall. I also chose items that are mostly under $50.  Let's get started with TOP 5 favorite pieces from the SALE. 1. Lush Raw Edge Side Slit Tee

This tee fits true to size and wearing an XS very similar to the Lush Tee from last year. It's super comfy and is a V neck vs. a scoop neck. The quality is also much better and thicker. It comes in a variety of colors. I picked up the white and gray one which are great neutrals to layer with the cardigans I got for the fall. I also love that it is a longer length and covers my bottom which is also a great option to wear with leggings.

2. BP Plaid Cotton Blend Shirt 

This cotton blend plaid shirt is very similar to last year but I absolutely love the fit and fits true to size. I'm wearing an XS.  It is less boxy and more fitted. It comes in 5 gorgeous colors and I picked up the red and white one since they are classic staples for fall. I love the longer length so you can wear with leggings. I wanted to show it untucked so you can get an idea of what the length would look like. I'm 5'5 and it hits right below my bottom which I love. I plan on wearing it tucked in with jeans as shown.

3. Leith Easy Circle Cardigan 

This Leith cardigan fits true to size and I'm wearing an XS. It is the softest and most cozy cardigan I own. I love the neutral color since it will go with so many different looks. I love that you can wear it now during summer with shorts or with jeans for the fall. It comes in 4 gorgeous color and I want the blush one too. It's definitely a staple for fall and the neutral color makes it perfect to wear all season long. I also love pairing it with dresses. I paired it with this comfy black ruffle dress that is also part of the SALE and under $30.

4. Article of Society Jeans  

These jeans are one of my favorite purchases because of the price and fit. The color is also perfect for fall and it fits true to size. I'm wearing a size 25. I also like the shorter length since I usually have to get my pants hem since I'm only 5'5. The hem fits me perfect and I love that it has a distressed hem detail which is trending everywhere this fall. I definitely recommend grabbing a pair of colored jeans. I love that you can wear them to casual Fridays at work.

5. BP. V- NECK PULL OVER SWEATER
These sweaters are so soft and very flattering. They run big so I recommend sizing down, I'm wearing an XXS. If you want a looser fit, I recommend getting your normal size. I love that these are such a great basic to wear on its own or layering it over a cardigan. I picked up the blush and gray color and will definitely be wearing them now and into fall.
