I wanted to share this outfit that I wore last week when I was on vacation with my family in Scottsdale, Arizona. We checked in at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess which is such an amazing resort. We stayed in a beautiful casita and the views of the desert were beyond amazing. I love that there were Saguaro cacti everywhere. We had such a good time relaxing and catching up with our friends. It was definitely hot there, but I was able to keep cool and chic in this olive long sleeve striped tee by BP that also comes in white.
Since I tan very easily, and the first thing that gets super tan are my arms, I wanted something long sleeve that was comfortable in 100 degrees heat. This top definitely fit the bill. I love that it is a tunic length so that you can wear it with leggings or jeans in the fall. It is also a great layering piece to layer under my favorite anorak jacket that comes in black and olive green that is linkedhere and part of the Nordstrom sale. It runs big and I'm wearing an XXS so I would definitely size down if you want more of a fitted look. For a summer look, I wore it with my favorite denim shorts by Paige which are similar here & here &here I also paired with my favorite fedora hat by Billabong which is similarhere. For a pop of print and texture, I added my favorite leopard print bag by Vince Camuto which literally goes with everything. Leopard is definitely the new neutral and a great look for fall. I also paired it with my favorite Quaysunglasses that are my newest obsession. If you have a flatter nose, these sunglasses will be your best friend. I love that they stay in place and the marble design is super fun and unique. My favorite part of this outfit is the neutralBrowyn Booties from Gray Monroethat are so chic and fun to wear for summer and into fall. The best part of the shoes is that it is only $40 which is such a steal and looks way more expensive than the price tag. The open toe perforated details are amazing and the color is the perfect neutral to go with any look. I can't wait to wear these booties with dresses & jeans. They are definitely a great transition item to have as the seasons begin to change from summer to fall. I am very fortunate that the weather is nice all year round here in San Diego. For those chilly nights, I would pair this look with my favorite moto jacket by BlankNYC or under a utility vest shown here.

Are you looking for a versatile dress that you can wear all season long? I found the perfect little black dress (LBD) for you and it is part of the Nordstrom Sale (Nsale). I wore this gorgeous black tunic dress by Lush on a date night with my husband and I absolutely love how flattering it is and so comfortable to wear during the summer heat. It also comes in 6 amazing colors and I already own three of them. The black one I'm wearing is a bit sheer so I recommend wearing a slip underneath. I love that you can wear it now and for fall. For a summer look, I paired this dress with the "Barsha" lace-up heels by Vince Camuto that comes in three gorgeous colors. I'm seriously debating about the grey ones since they are such a neutral color and will go with so many looks. These shoes are so comfortable and I recommend sizing up. I'm wearing a size "9" and I normally wear between an "8" and "8 1/2". The Bourduex color is gorgeous and definitely a color that is trending everywhere this fall. For a fall look, I recommend wearing them with my favorite Vince Camuto "Melaya over the knee boots that I bought here. These boots run true to size and I can't wait to wear them during the fall. I know many of you have waited anxiously for today! The Nordstrom sale (#Nsale) has finally hit the public. The sale is now public to everyone! I wanted to do a quick round up of my favorite transitional pieces that are under $100 and most are under $50 that you can wear NOW & into fall. I know it is hard to think about winter coats, jackets, cardigans, and layering up when it is a gazillion degree outside. Trust me, I was sweating like crazy trying on the warmer layers. I have learned through the years to take advantage of sales during the opposite season. For example, buy winter clothes during summer and vice versa. I am very surprised at how much the items are marked down. Some are items are marked down up to 40% which is such a great deal. I am really impressed this year with the selection of items that are on SALE. As a result, I wanted to round up my top favorite transitional pieces from the sale. I know it can be very overwhelming as to what to buy. I hope this helps you find pieces that YOU love that will work with the weather and climate that you live in. Fit Details: I'm wearing an XXS in the Hinge Crochet Detail top and it fits true to size. The crochet detail top is gorgeous and it is so pretty to wear now or into fall. I paired it with the olive green corduroy skirt by Jolt for a fun summer look which runs true to size. For a fall look, layer it with the cardigan that comes in 6 colors & runs big. I'm wearing an XXS. I also paired it with the gorgeous crossbody bag for a boho chic look. For a summer look pair it with sandals or a pair of ankle boots.
Fit Details: The BP Utility Pants fit true to size. I'm wearing a 25 and it fits me perfectly including the length. I'm 5'5 and have a hard time finding pants that are not too long. They are super comfy and a great pair of pants to wear now since they are super light weight and cotton. It's perfect to wear with sandals or some ankle boots or over the knee boots for fall/winter.
Fit Details: The Lush Twist Front Woven Top comes in 4 colors and I'm wearing an XS and runs a little big on me. It is also shorter in front. I have a longer torso. I really love how soft it felt and also the knotted top is such a fun detail and is trending everywhere this season. I love that you can wear this top now with the BP Utility Pants or pair them with shorts. It is also a great versatile top for work paired with some trousers or a pencil skirt. You can dress this top also with a blazer for a more polished look.
Fit Details: These jeans fit me like a glove and true to size. They are the perfect length and so comfortable to wear. They are definitely a splurge in my book, but worth every penny. They fit like jeggings and don't feel like you are wearing jeans. I would totally have bought them, but I have another pair that is so similar at home. If you are looking for a pair of distressed jeans and comfortable to wear. This is the ONE. It will sell out, so if you are thinking about it make sure to grab it now before it sells out again. The Lush V-neck blouse is amazing. If you loved the one last year, you will love this one. I personally like this year's better without the pocket. I also like that it fits me better and the length is not too long. If you're petite, this shirt is definitely for you. I love that it is so versatile to wear with jeans or for a work look. Perfect for summer and a great layering piece for fall.
Fit Details: These BP jeans are amazing! They fit true to size and such a great price. They are on SALE for $41 and originally $62 which is almost $20 in savings! I love that it has the right amount of distressing and I love that they are a true black and not gray or faded. I paired these jeans with the BP long sleeve olive green stripe top which I also have in white. I love it so much. I had to get both. This top is such a great layering piece and perfect to wear now. For a boho chic look, I paired it with my favorite Hinge booties in burgundy and this fun cross body bag.

Summer is in full swing and I can’t believe how gorgeous the weather has been here in southern California. I’ve been living in maxi dresses because they are so comfy and chic. I love this one from Shop Pink Blush that comes in 3 different colors. It was sold out in my size and so happy it was restocked. I knew I had to get it! The dress is even more gorgeous in person. The floral print and details of the dress reminded me of the Japanese garden in Balboa Park. I love the wrap detail of the dress which instantly accentuates any figure. I am wearing a size small and it fits me perfectly. The dress also comes in maternity which is perfect since it will grow with your bump. When I was pregnant with my boys, I literally lived in maxi dresses since they were so chic and comfortable to wear. I especially remembered wearing them with the youngest since I lived in the desert. It was the perfect relief while still looking chic. The best part of this dress is it is super versatile. It’s perfect to wear for a summer wedding, baby shower, or just a fun weekend. I paired it with my favorite denim jacket for a more casual vibe.
