Halloween is one of my most favorite holidays of the year. We love going to pumpkin patches and the boys had so much fun this year at Bates Nut Farm. This year was very hot, hence the two outfits I wore. I was very hopeful that the weather will cool down, I was prepared and brought my favorite pumpkin tee from Target which was perfect to wear for the hot weather. I love that I can also layer it under my striped tee that I wore from Nordstrom. I wanted to stand out from all the pumpkins so I wore the striped top and plaid blanket scarf. I've been experimenting more with mixing patterns and different textures. I also wore my new black over the knee suede boots by Merona that were very comfortable since I knew I will be chasing the boys around the patch. My favorite part was seeing the boys try to roll the huge pumpkin (see above). We had such a blast at the farm and it definitely has become part of our family annual tradition.
Speaking of traditions, ever since I had my oldest son we had adopted a theme each year for Halloween. Our first theme was GI Joes. Then we followed the following year with superheroes. I was actually pregnant with my second in this photo. The spiderman is actually our friend's son. When we had my youngest the challenge was to keep the theme going. We had so much fun dressing up as Ninja Turtles. Last year we were Star Wars and I can't wait to share this year's theme with you. It's definitely getting harder each year to find a theme that everyone can agree on since both my boys are now starting to have opinions of their own. I will continue this tradition as long as they let me.

Happy Sunday! I'm so excited that the weather has started to cool down and starting to feel more like fall. This diamond-knit dress from Maggy London is perfect for this season because it is such a classic and timeless piece. This dress is perfect to wear for date night, a work look or to a holiday party. For a date night look, I paired this dress with my leopard print booties for an edgy look. I also added my favorite moto jacket by Blank NYC which is perfect to layer for those chilly nights. I love that the dress is soft and has great texture. Not only will the mock-neck help keep me warm during the cooler months but the fit and flare silhouette is such a flattering look on almost anyone. My favorite part of this dress is the zipper detailing and the bonus part is the pockets. I love that the pockets are deep enough where I can put my hands in to keep warm. I'm always fond of the little details, The real pockets and zippers definitely fit the bill and exceeded my expectations. For a holiday party look, I styled it with my favorite earrings from BP & Nine West heels which are old but I linked a similar one here. I love that a few accessories can really glam up this look. How to Style Floral Dresses & Giveaway

I wore this gorgeous floral dress from Pineapple Lace to celebrate my grandfather's 92 birthday. I had some fun spending time with my family. It was nice to see everyone and catch up. The highlight of his birthday was seeing my sister and niece. It was the perfect dress to wear since it was super comfy and flattering.

 The colors and patterns on the dress definitely remind me of fall. Florals are trending everywhere this season and I love to wearing my outfits more than one way. I also paired it with my favorite Addidas sneakers which are perfect for a weekend look running errands or with the kids. I'm obsessed with wearing sneakers with dresses lately. I think it is so comfy and chic and it's great especially for chasing my boys around & still look put together. For a date night look, I wore this gorgeous dress with my comfy black heels by Steve Madden. I love that wearing a black heel instantly elevates my look. I also added my favorite suede jacket by Blank NYC which is such a great piece to add warmth and edginess to my look. My favorite way to wear this dress is pairing it with the over the knee suede boots by Vince Camuto.
