Fall break at Hilton BayFront San Diego

Happy Tuesday! I can't believe our fall break is already over. We started our fall break at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront and loved every minute of our stay. When it comes to family travel especially with my boys, it is difficult to find a place that satisfies everyone's needs. Over fall break, our family traveled to San Diego, California and found the perfect place to stay at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Between working from home, kids learning virtually and not being able to travel like we used to, we could all use a change of scenery. Luckily, one of San Diego's most gorgeous waterfront properties-Hilton Bayfront is back open. It's the perfect staycation spot for families, couples or pregnant moms-to be to relax and rejuvenate Hilton San Diego Bayfront, but I want to share the greatest memories and highlights.

One of our favorite part about the Hilton San Diego Bay Front is the location & convenience. The resort is conveniently located in Downtown, San Diego which is such a centralized place if you never been to San Diego. It's minutes away from the Gas Lamp & it's walking distance to Petco Park as well as Sea Port Village.  The kids & I love being able to ride their scooters and explore the city. I also loved being able to  enjoy the beautiful city scape of Downtown as well as the beautiful bay view of Coronado from the hotel.

Because of COVID, I am extremely impressed with the cleanliness & precautions all around the resort. Not only were signs posted everywhere as reminders to social distance, but masks are required at all times at the hotel unless you are in the pool. The only time we took off our masks was when we were taking pictures. Everyone from the staff to the guests at the hotel was very respectful of that and everyone maintain their social distancing. I definitely felt safe and at ease while I was at the hotel. For guest's convenience, the hotel has activated a digital take-out room delivery ordering option that guests can access via QR code or URL. I also love that you can pick-up their food or have it delivered to your room or pool lounger.

Another reason that I loved staying at this resort is the views and our room. As you walk into the room you instantly see the large windows and gorgeous view of Downtown San Diego as well as the beautiful bay view. The morning sunrise and sunsets were breathtaking from our room. The kids and I would spend hours just staring at the window and the beautiful views of San Diego. Our room also was very spacious which we all appreciated. The photos don't do the view justice. I promise you the view is breathtaking. I definitely recommend getting the Skyline view when you make your reservations. I love waking up to these beautiful view each morning.

One of our favorite spots at the hotel is the pool. The waterfront, heated pool is open from 10am to 6pm. If you have been following for awhile on Instagram, we are total pool fanatics. We love pools and have been to a fair share of them. The Hilton San Diego Bayfront pool absolutely did not disappoint. There is definitely something for everyone! From the kids play area and slide to the beautiful and spacious pool for swimming, tanning or just relaxing. (The slide was temporarily closed due to COVID.)  Because reservations are required at the pool, it helped limited the amount of people that were allowed in at a given time. Poolside loungers have been set to follow social distancing guidelines and sanitized regularly. Not only did we feel safe, but it was such a relaxing experience to be able to see the gorgeous views of Coronado Bay. Most of the time, we were the only ones in the pool. The hotel staff at the pool went above and beyond to make the kids and I feel comfortable. Not only is the view breathtaking by the pool, but the food was delicious. If you order food, I would recommend getting the carne asada tacos. They are seriously to die for.

Lastly, I love that it also kid friendly and a great place to unwind by the pool or take a staycation if you live in San Diego. Also, if you are getting stirred crazy from working from home, I highly recommend staying at the Hilton Bay Front it's such a great place away from home to work and then indulge or take a break by the pool. I love that the hotel is minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Coronado Beach and so much more. Because I am still recovering fro my fall, we decided to take it easy this trip. It was absolutely what I needed and I would totally recommend this hotel for families, couples, and singles that just want to getaway. It is the perfect vacation for us and I love that is a couple hours by plane ride and a short drive from Phoenix. If you are local to San Diego, it's the perfect weekend staycation and getaway.

Thank you Hilton San Diego Bayfront for your hospitality and welcoming my family at your resort. All opinions are my own.
