Happy Friday Eve! Last weekend our family had a staycation at the gorgeousPointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resortresort. We wanted to plan a family vacation before the kids go back to school and the Pointe Hilton Tapatio was the perfect retreat for our family. One of our favorite things to do in the summer is spending time at the pool. It's also the best way to beat the excessive heat we've been experiencing in Phoenix. With the boys being on swim team this year, I felt more comfortable at the pool and finally got to relax.
The Pointe Hilton Resort has eight refreshing pools to cool off in and the boys loved the slide the best. It's a 138-foot enclosed slide that is tons of fun. I totally recommend checking it out because it is so enjoyable and refreshing. I also highly recommend renting a cabana. It was such a life saver for us to be able to cool off during the heat and find a shaded area. The TV was also an added bonus for the boys since they were able to watch TV and I was able to unwind for a few minutes which is golden when your a mom.
Another great feature at the Pointe Hilton is the interactive wildlife which is hosted by the Wildlife World Zoo. This interactive program allows you to interact with animals and reptiles. In addition to the interactive wildlife, Pointe Hilton also offers so many activities by the pool. One of our favorite activities was playing checkers and Liam loved playing at the basketball court. We ended our night with the dive-in movie which was so entertaining. There is such a plethora of activities to do at the resort which I loved. There was definitely no shortage of fun or activities to do.
My favorite thing about the resort is the gorgeous view of Squaw Peak. We loved the waterfall which was located near our room. I also enjoyed sitting outside our balcony and watching the sunset. I also enjoyed our spacious suite which makes traveling with little ones so much easier. Overall, I recommend staying here especially if you have children. There is definitely something for everyone! Fortunately, the Pointe Hilton Tapatio is running a summer special for $79 night for their spacious suite with code: OZ. Make sure to check it out if you are staying in Phoenix! It's the best way to cool off in this summer sun. We are looking forward to staying there again and creating more memories with our family.
