I'm so excited to finally shared my holiday card with you! We actually took these pictures a couple of days before Thanksgiving and it was raining the day before so I was very nervous about the weather, but the day turned out perfect with the exception of some mud here and there. We decided to shoot our holiday card in Temecula at a winery called Lorimar which is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and I love wine and this place is such a nostalgic place for us since it reminded us of our favorite places to go when we were dating which is Napa Valley. We actually wanted to get married there, but we got married in Maui instead which we absolutely love. This place was the perfect place to capture our family photo. The boys had such a great time running around and exploring the vineyard. I was definitely a nervous wreck especially with my temperamental two-year-old who decided to have a meltdown towards the end of our shoot. We worked with such a great photographer, Stephanie and I'm so thankful that she is so patient with my boys. I'm really happy how the pictures turned out. I also learned with younger kids that the best thing to do is to take small breaks here and there and to not force it. It's something that I'm still learning. It was definitely hard to narrow down my favorites.
I wore this gorgeous dress by Maggy London which is perfect to wear during the holidays. I love that it is sophisticated and chic. The sheer neckline is so sexy yet chic. I also like that it comes in petite sizes too. I'm wearing a size 0 and it fits true to size. I love that you can wear this dress for New Year's Eve. Pair it with some sparkly shoes and a statement earrings and a red lip and you are set to go.
